X FILES

While other collectible
card game publishers are
carefully doling out the
information they want you
to have, we at The United
States Playing Card Compa-
ny think you are old
enough to handle the whole
truth. Why? Maybe because
we've been the world's #1
producer of playing card
games for over 100 years,
and we've gotten to know
our customers very well.
We know how seriously you
take your card games, and
we wouldn't still be in
business if we didn't take
them just as seriously. We
are proud to introduce The
X-Files™ Collectible Card
Game, designed by the
gamers at NXT Games. We
know that there is more to
a great collectible card
game than excellent game
mechanics. Even in our
excitement about this great
new game, we didn't forget
your concerns about col-
lectibility, and we're not
afraid to show our hand:

RARITY
Our starter decks each have three rare cards, and our
booster packs each have two rares. Two ultra-rare
cards replace two rares in every display of boosters
(not in the same booster pack, of course).

FORMAT
Like most CCGs, each edition of The X-Files™ basic
game will be available in boosters and starters, and
expansions will be sold boosters only. Each edition
or expansion will have one print run. That's it. One.

PRINT RUNS
Our print runs will be small. Really small, when you think how
big this market is. The first world-wide English edition of
The X-Files™ Co lectible Card Game is about 80 million
cards. It will ship    in November and December. Future editions
will be as limited, because we don't want to flood the market
with cards the players don't want and the stores can't sell.

BORDERS
All of our cards will have black borders, because with
each edition, we'll be making changes to the cards to
make them    better or more fun or cooler. You'll defi-
nitely be able to tell the difference between editions.

PROMO CARDS
What's not to like about promo cards? We love 'em. You
love 'em. If you didn't make it to GenCon to get the first
promotional card, bummer. The good news is that we have
several more in the pipeline. Check out our website if you
want the lowdown on release dates and distribution.

We're USPC Games.
Our cards are on the table.
