InQuest 23 - 35 - X-Files CCG: Feature - Stumpers
SPOTLIGHT:
THE X FILES
Stumpers
Q: I got Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in my starter deck. I heard
they were going to be ultra-rare. Was this a god deck, or what?
A: You got the common versions. Mulder and Scully come
in both common and ultra-rare versions. The ultra-rare ones
only come in booster packs.
Q: Drat. What's the chance of getting an ultra-rare?
A: One out of every 18 boosters has an ultra-rare card in it.
Q: My friend's agent had 3 health. I played an adversary that
did 5 damage. My friend played First Aid to heal 1 damage,
and said that put the agent back up to 1 health so she didn't have
to go to the hospital. I say she'd need to heal 3 to stay out of
the Hospital. Who was right?
A. Your friend was right. Agents never go below zero health,
no matter how much damage they take.
Q: When I'm discarding cards to gain conspiracy points, how
many points is a card with an "X" worth?
A: Zero.

Q@: If I don't have a Mulder on my side, can I use Phoebe Green
to bring my opponent's Mulder over to help with my investigation?
A: That would be pretty cool, wouldn't it? But no, you can
only use this on your own Mulder.
Q: If a card says to put it under an agent "as a reminder," do
I get to shuffle it back in when I shuffle my discard pile into my
bureau pile?
A: Nope. It stays under the agent.
Q: What about Deep Throat? Can I get him back when I reshuffle?
A: No, Deep Throat is removed from the game after you use
him to ask a question.
Q: Dr. Osborne lets me add 1 token to my resource pool every
time a Government or Medical card is played. If I play a face-
down bluff card that has the Government or Medical keyword,
do I get the free token?
A: Not right away. When the bluff is revealed, if Dr. Osborne
is still in play, then you get the token at that time.
Q: If I play Trap to force single combat between an adversary
and an agent, and the adversary trashes the agent without get-
ting killed, is the adversary discarded or does it stick around to
fight the other agents?
