• Gillian Anderson has finally given
the nod to appearing in the X-Files
movie, which should be screened next
year. TV Guide notes that she may have
been holding out for a salary comparable
to co-star David Duchovny's. Martin Lan-
dau has landed the coveted role of "Mr.
Farber" in the still untitled film.

Anderson is set to take a pay cut fo
appear in a low-budget independent
movie, "Hellcab," which will also fea-
ture John Cusack and Julianne Moore -
also working for, in actor's terms, peanuts.
