NXT GAMES and
Donruss threw a
big launch party in
San Diego, the
first weekend in
December, to
introduce Red
Zone & Top Of
The Order to the
Hobby & Game Industry.
The soiree, which included the

opportunity to play the
games with Tony Gwynn
and Pat Haden, was a
smashing success that
ended with an awesome
dinner at one of San
Diego's finest dining
spots. Among industry
patter and game analysis
over dinner, it was gener-
ally agreed that the NXT
Games and Donruss team
are likely to be one of the
major driving forces for
collectible card games this
year. The next game from
Donruss might very well
be an NHL Hockey game,
and other huge projects are in the
works. Watch for announcements on
their 1996 lineup as early as next issue.
