NXT Games/Donruss News

The FOX Broadcasting Company has
selected NXT Games and Donruss Trading
Cards to create the Official X-FILES CCG. Chris
Carter, the creator of X-FILES, and his team,
are working closely with NXT Games to
develop a game that captures the flavor of the
series. The cards will have full-color images
taken from the first two seasons. If you want to
keep track of the progress of the game, check
out the NXT Games web site at
http://www.nxtgames.com
Look for the X-FILES CCG in July or August.

In late January came RED ZONE 1995:
Expansion Teams, a brand-new 90-card set for
their RED ZONE football card game. It con-
tains NFL stars not in the first release, such as
Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Brett Favre, Andre
Rison, Ricky Watters,
Rashaant Salaam, Eric
Metcalf, and many
more. The expansion
set also includes the
two new NFL expan-
sion teams, the
Jacksonville Jaguars
and the Carolina
Panthers. Plus, it is
now possible for
players to draft all
13 positions from
the same NFL
team-an all-
Dallas Cowboys a
team, for example.

Check out the Kordell Stewart, Deion Sanders
and Eric Metcalf cards. These are the first RED
ZONE cards to have players who can play more
than one position. Kordell can play three posi-
tions!

NXT Games/Dontuss has also produced a
very rare commemorative Deion Sanders RED
ZONE card for this year's 30th Super Bowl.
Deion Sanders will have both a normal rare
card that will be found in the upcoming
expansion set as well as this special super-rare
card that will only be given away to national
tournament and contest winners. Not only is it
super-rare, it's super-powerful too. He is a
Defensive Back on the card with cover skills of
INT, INT, INT, and he returns kicks and punts
back for TD!
