New Ultra Rares to Play With
by David May
Is it really over? Is Fox
Mulder really dead? ie @ fl
Scully still needs to fight
off the disease she was
infected with. It can't end
this way! They need
Mulder to believe, so he
can validate the lie. The Conspiracy has not
ended! We need to know the truth!
From the questions raised in Gethsemane,
The X-Files television series' fourth season
finale, three new ultra-rare cards have been
developed and will be randomly inserted into
the booster bonus box (you get one per box).
Now all you need to know is how you can play
and win with each of the new cards for The X-
Files CCG!

A Final Choice: When this bluff card is
played, your opponent is
going to lose an agent for a
long time! If that agent is
Mulder, it will seem like you
have lost him for the rest of
the game. The best thing about
A Final Choice is,
that once it is
played,
you can
use any of
your
cheap
bluffs that
change a
site pre-
requisite.
These types of bluffs
now become more
effective. If you are unlucky enough to be
on the receiving end of A Final Choice,
you can use The Mailman to remove a
token from the agent affected by A Final
Choice.
Infected That You Might Believe: Talk about
frustrating! You can use this card to lower all of
the skills of one agent by one. Just think about
it; if the player uses only one agent to investi-
going to lose an agent for a

gate each site, Ouch! If you play the
card on Scully, you may choose to
have her move back to the hospital
every other turn (even worse than a
minus one). Once you force Scully
to go to the hospital for her treat-
ments, make things really frustrat-
ing for your opponent by playing
Jose Chung's From Outer Space!
Player One: "You can't ask a Motive
question." Player Two: "All I have is
a Motive site and Scully goes to the
Hospital next turn." Player One:
"Bummer!"
Believe The Lie: This card
doesn't need a combo... Okay,
maybe a small one like - play
One Breath to get Believe The
Lie from your Bureau deck.
With Believe The Lie being
printed, it is a safe bet that Is
your affiliation Alien? will be
the first affiliation question
asked each game, or will it?
This card will definitely keep the air of conspir-
acy (that's you) around a little longer.
Enjoy the new cards, and remember -
The Game Is Out There!
