8. OverPower (IQ OverPower, DC OverPower)

For the first ttme, M:TG was not number one at every store. Instead, it was num-
ber one at less than 4 out of 5 stores. Star Wars was a very strong second, due to
Hoth being a big hit. BattleTech sales were great too: it was #1 or #2 at about 40%
of the stores which carried it, and significantly ahead of X-Files and Star Trek:TNG
sales. BattleTech and X-Files sales might have been higher if a significant number
of stores had not sold out of the product.
